Cardiac Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN)
PRN - On-call | Outpatient Cardiology
Orlando, Florida
The Cardiovascular Center of Florida is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our growing outpatient cardiovascular imaging team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Tech who enjoys working in a collaborative, patient-focused cardiology environment with consistent scheduling and advanced cardiovascular imaging exposure.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols
- Support nuclear stress testing and myocardial perfusion imaging workflows
- Prepare and educate patients for imaging procedures
- Review images for quality and completeness prior to physician interpretation
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and clinical teams
- Maintain accurate documentation within EMR and PACS systems
- Ensure compliance with patient safety, radiation safety, and infection prevention standards
Qualifications
- Current CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required
- Active BLS certification required
- Minimum 1–2 years of nuclear medicine experience preferred
- Cardiology or cardiac stress testing experience strongly preferred
- Experience in outpatient imaging or cardiology settings preferred
- CT certification is a plus
- Strong communication and patient care skills
