Location: Irving, TX (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Rate: $23- $25

As a DMV Clerk, you’re one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves, You’ll be responsible for all our guests’ vehicle registrations, from application to submission. You'll have to have an eye for detail and handle all responsibilities with honesty and integrity. Your work is key in ensuring that our guests leave 100% satisfied with their Norm Reeves location experience. This role is a great leap into your career with us!

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, process, and submit all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled to the Department of Motor Vehicles
• Review applications for accuracy and ensure all information is complete
• Register all vehicle warranties and extended service contracts
• Maintain a log of all contracts processed and mailed out
• Compile and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title work
• Verify funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications
• Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins
• Bill out all dealer trades and prepare Certificates of Origin
• Acknowledge delays and report to management on the status of any missing or problem titles
• Provide a current list of outstanding titles to the Controller at the end of the month
• Process yearly renewal of dealer tags in conjunction with the Controller
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Full time availability. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old.
• Previous DMV, titling, or dealership administrative experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with computers and dealership management systems is a plus.
