- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales floor management and administrative tasks
- Support employee orientation, training, and development to foster a motivated and knowledgeable team
- Participate in interviewing and recruiting efforts to build a strong, diverse workforce aligned with company standards
- Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control procedures
- Handle cash register operations, cashiering duties, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity
- Contribute to sales management by supporting pricing strategies, promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives
- Supervise shift management activities to ensure efficient staffing, customer service excellence, and adherence to policies
- Maintain organized records of payroll, bookkeeping, and store documentation in compliance with company policies
- Promote excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and ensuring a welcoming shopping environment
- Support marketing efforts through visual merchandising and promotional displays that attract customers
- Previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or grocery stores is highly preferred
- Demonstrated skills in management, team leadership, and employee supervision with a focus on motivating staff

- Experience with POS systems, retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management tools is desirable
