Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and assist them in seating arrangements or waiting list management
- Manage reservations and walk-in guest flow to optimize seating efficiency
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process payments accurately and swiftly
- Handle cashier duties including cash, credit card, and mobile payments with attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and dining area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate guest needs and special requests
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a food service or restaurant setting preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain energetic throughout shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel, or guest services roles is a plus
