Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take drink and food orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
- Serve beverages and food promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and transactions
- Ensure food safety standards are upheld by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleanup during service shifts, including catering or banquet events if applicable
- Engage with customers to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items, and promote specials or upsells
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, stock supplies efficiently, and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages
- Follow all food industry regulations related to alcohol service, responsible serving practices, and health codes
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours
- Previous experience in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales reconciliation
- Experience with catering or food service operations enhances your versatility in this role
- Basic math skills for managing bills, tips, and inventory counts effectively
