What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event/Room Set-Up position at The Cape Club of Sharon?
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to assist with event set-up on a regular basis.
Duties
- Set up tables and chairs for events such as weddings and fundraisers.
- Move décor and items during the event if necessary.
- Breakdown and store tables and chairs in between events.
- Clean event area flooring between events and during events when necessary.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure efficient operation of the department.
Experience
- Previous experience in a set-up or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk continuously for up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and moving through the work area
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
