What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician/Handyman position at The Canyons Zip Line and Adventure Park?
Job Description:
Repair and maintain mechanical equipment, machinery, and buildings. General maintenance of utility vehicles such as changing the oil, air filters, replacing tires, cleaning, etc. Morning preparations for utility vehicles. Mowing, weed eating, and other lawn maintenance. Setting up camp fires for night tours. Any other related work as assigned.
Skills Needed:
- Carpentry skills
- Must have basic mechanic skills
- Need to know how to operate chainsaw and make repairs
- Electrical experience is a plus but not required
- General handy man experience (does not have to be professional experience)
- Will need physical stamina and dexterity
Other Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Weekend work required, every weekend
- Must be able to lift and/or move items weighing 50 or more pounds
- Willing to undergo background check
- Having your own tools is a plus, but not a requirement
