What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Daycare Handler position at The Canine Corner?
NO SEASONAL WORKERS, we're looking for career-orientated individuals. Minimum one-year employment interest.
We are looking to fill a "Catch-All" position from 7am-2pm on Mondays IN ADDITION TO 12:30pm-8pm Tuesday - Friday.
Shift relies on you being punctual and willing to work amongst your fellow crew and hands on with dogs. Training period varies from 2-4 weeks and the hours during that period vary.
Must meet the following criteria:
- Weekend availability is a plus!
- Hands on physical work in pen with dogs
- Comfortable with dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments
- Willingness to learn about canine behavior and implement techniques learned
- Ability to communicate well with clients and colleagues
- Respectful of client homes
- Attentive and presentable
- Reliable and punctual
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Must be able to walk extensively in all weather
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE TRAINING SCHEDULE WILL DIFFER FROM THE SHIFT YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK IF HIRED. PAID-TRAINING.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
