Job Summary:
We are seeking holiday help with the possibility to continue into the New Year if interested. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess excellent customer service skills. This role involves providing care and support to animals in our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily care of animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and maintain kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor animal behavior and report any health or behavioral concerns to the supervisor
- Provide basic grooming and bathing services for animals
- Assist with administering medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Interact with pet owners and provide excellent customer service
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kennel or similar environment is preferred
- Knowledge of animal handling, care, and restraint techniques
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Certification or training in veterinary assistance, dog training, or related field is beneficial
