Job Description
The Lead Medical Assistant is required to perform all duties of the Medical Assistant and additionally functions as the resource person to the non-licensed staff. The lead will act as the liaison/first point of contact between management and staff for any personnel issues.

Job Description

Education
Desired/Required Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Three years of work experience in similar job or work environment.
- Demonstrates competency and professional responsibility in the medical assistant role.
- Complies with personnel policies.
- Completes orientation/safety/skills checklist on MA new hires
- Completes regular audits to ensure compliance of MAs to personnel policies and checks competencies.
- Completes MA assignments weekly to ensure all providers and infusion clinics are covered.
- Works with Site Managers to grant PTO requests.
- All other duties as assigned.
