The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$81,500-$117,200
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. What You Will Do…
- Support external communications initiatives that align with business priorities and protect and enhance the company’s reputation.
- Support proactive and reactive media relations, building strong relationships with business, trade, local, and community press.
- Monitor critical issues impacting the company’s business, brand, and reputation, and prepare mitigation and response plans for time-sensitive situations.
- Support executive visibility plans for the operating committee.
- Track, analyze, and report on media coverage and communications KPIs to measure impact and inform continuous improvement.

What You Bring To The Table… (Must Have)
- 4 years of experience in communications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, or a related field (additional education counts for additional years of experience).
- Proven experience in external communications, including storytelling, strategic planning, media relations, and change management.
- Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills across a variety of formats, including presentations, digital content, social media, blogs, video, and newsletters.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner with leaders across a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated experience in media relations, policy communications, and issues management.
- General business and financial literacy, with a strong interest in news and current events shaping the business environment.
- Strong research and fact‑checking capabilities.
- Adaptable, proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using collaboration and publishing tools such as Microsoft SharePoint.
- Design and editing skills, including experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video production tools.
- Experience working in a public company or agency environment.
