What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler 3 (Vacuum) position at The Caldwell Group, Inc.?
This position is responsible for assembling and testing products of high complexity including automated, electronic hydraulic and pneumatic components as multiple moving parts. Other responsibilities include fit-up welding and troubleshooting.
· Assembles sub-components and complete assemblies for the power packs and vacuum lifters.
· Assembles repair components to create saleable product.
· Travel for training and field service.
· Tests units and corrects deficiencies. Trouble shoots all Inspect and Advise (I &A).
· Cuts, grinds and bonds sponge seal ring assemblies
· Moves the product to the shipping area.
. Maintains clean and safe work environment
. Reports defective tools and equipment.
· Demonstrates the Caldwell Company Values in all work activities.
· Complies with all safety rules and requirements.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Five years mechanical assembly experience
· Five years plumbing experience or compatible/relevant skillset
. One year forklift experience
· Ability to assemble and troubleshoot all Caldwell products at levels
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints
· Ability to use voltage meters, amp meters, hand tools, and power tools
· Ability to read a tape measure

Performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally the employee is required to stand and walk.

Pay: $27.01 - $33.76 per hour
