Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes.
- Ensure all food items are prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and culinary standards.
- Assist in menu development by creating new pastry items that align with seasonal offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen area.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by accommodating special requests or dietary restrictions when possible.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation, and food safety practices.
- Proficient in using kitchen equipment and tools, including knives and mixers.
- Excellent attention to detail with a creative flair for presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
