Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, with precision and care.
- Operate POS systems to process sales quickly and accurately.
- Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent service and answering questions about menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee shop, including food handling, & beverage preparation stations.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage sales transactions efficiently.
- Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred But not necessary.
- Familiarity with POS systems & cash handling is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food preparation techniques.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts smoothly.
