Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to build rapport and enhance their overall experience.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure seamless sales processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following food safety protocols.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and implement appropriate measures to promote safety.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate service during busy hours, manage catering or banquet events, and support nightclub or retail bar operations.
- Keep detailed records of sales, inventory levels, and incident reports as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet service, or food industry settings; retail math skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days such as banquets or catering functions.
- Previous experience in hospitality environments like nightclubs or restaurants is highly desirable; fine dining experience is preferred.
