What are the responsibilities and job description for the Granite Installer/Fabricator position at The Cabinet and Granite Depot?
*Experience not required – willing to provide training for eager applicants*
Duties:
- Lead Installer - Manage installation process. Cut, polish, miter, notch, drill holes, cooktop cutouts, outlet cutouts etc. Also, must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Must have a drivers license.
- Measure, cut, shape, and fabricate granite slabs using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications.
- Install granite countertops
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
- Operate heavy equipment safely during fabrication processes.
- Conduct quality inspections of fabricated materials and installed surfaces to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
Experience
- Must be able to carry heavy material *Required*
- Proven experience in granite fabrication and installation within residential or commercial construction projects. (Preferred, not required)
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to stonework. (Preferred, not required)
- Skilled in using hand tools such as grinders, saws, as well as power tools necessary for fabrication tasks. (Preferred, not required)
- Familiarity with construction management practices including inspection, and site safety protocols. (Preferred, not required)
- Ability to operate equipment safely on construction sites and adhere to all safety regulations. (Preferred, not required)
