What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hostess - Velvet Room position at The Cabin?
Velvet Room is seeking part time Hostesses to join the team. This seasonal lounge and nightlife experience will run June through October and will cater to discerning, high-profile guests who expect exceptional service.
We are only considering applicants with recent high-end hospitality experience.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience within the last three years in one or more of the following:
- High-end hospitality, fine dining, or luxury nightlife environments
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a warm, polished, and confident demeanor
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus, especially for international clientele
- Poise under pressure, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-profile setting
Host/esses
- Greet guests with grace, ensuring a seamless and elevated arrival experience
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the venue’s layout, menu, and programming
- Communicate effectively with management, security, and service teams to ensure VIP and member preferences are honored
- ID guests upon entry while maintaining the highest compliance with rules and regulations
- Uphold brand standards in appearance, tone, and guest interaction at all times
