Position: Storeroom Attendant
Reports to: Maintenance Department Manager

Position Description:
The objective of this individual will be to uphold the integrity of the manufacturing and facility equipment along with maintaining a professional environment within the department. Our goals are to improve product output and quality to maintain a competitive edge in the paperboard packaging industry with a safe and skillful approach.
Primary Responsibilities:
Administrative
- Must have a minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, sufficient driving record and adequate computer skills
- Work with Maintenance maintaining accurate records for equipment
- Responsible for entering all supplier and spare part data into CMMS
- Work with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and suppliers for repair parts and supplies
- Process deliveries, match with workorders, & pick/place in the kitting room
Departmental
- Responsible for purchasing or buying majority of production and maintenance supplies
- Establish and maintain min / max amounts for each item
- Familiar with multi-craft processes, equipment and supplies
- Work with Maintenance to coordinate material for equipment P.M.’s
- Assist production employees with storeroom needs
- Create bins for item inventory
- Circle counts at random to check inventory
- Travel to part and material suppliers as needed
- Work closely and communicate professionally with all company classifications to assure good effective team concept
- Readily available for support to all in-house customers
- Communicate with dayshift attendees between shift exchange.
Education / Experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required. Computer skills and mechanical aptitude desired.

Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with management, peers and other employees. Have active listening skills, attention to detail and follow-through. Must demonstrate tact, professionalism, teamwork, flexibility, an organized approach to work and a positive attitude.
Safety:
All duties to be performed in compliance with company guidelines, and safety policy.
MUST WEAR Hearing Protection and safety glasses in all areas.
MUST only use a safety knife with cut-proof gloves.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
