Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership
- Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry operations.
- Coordinate with maintenance to ensure timely resolution of room issues.
- Create schedules aligned with occupancy forecasts and business needs.
- Conduct daily room inspections and public area walkthroughs.
- Ensure adherence to safety, OSHA, and brand compliance standards.
- Manage linen, chemical, and supply inventory.
Team Development
- Recruit, onboard, train, and coach housekeeping team members.
- Provide clear expectations, feedback, and performance guidance.
- Foster accountability while maintaining strong team morale.
- Recognize team members who go the Xtra Mile.
- Maintain accurate documentation of coaching and performance.
Quality & Guest Experience
- Ensure service requests are handled quickly and professionally.
- Lead service recovery efforts related to room readiness or cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate lost and found procedures.
- Partner with the Front Office to ensure seamless room readiness communication.

- Guest rooms consistently exceed cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Preventative maintenance reduces guest concerns and operational disruptions.
- Team morale is strong and turnover remains low.
- Inspections reflect pride, ownership, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality management education preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of hotel housekeeping experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong organizational, inventory, and operational planning skills.
- Ability to lead calmly and effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
