Reports directly to the Finance Director
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize accounts payable
- Process invoices and vendor payments accurately and on time
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial records
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and general ledger entries
- Assist with payroll-related bookkeeping entries
- Prepare and organize monthly financial reports and P&Ls
- Support budgeting and cash flow tracking
- Work closely with the Finance Director to improve financial systems and reporting
- Maintain digital filing systems and financial documentation
- Ensure financial records are accurate, organized, and audit-ready
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of bookkeeping experience required
- Previous experience in restaurant, bakery, café, or hospitality accounting/bookkeeping strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Experience preparing monthly P&Ls
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication and time management skills
