What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expo/Food Runner- Experience preferred position at The Buttered Biscuit?
Responsibilities:
- Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and presentation
- Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Operate the Aloha POS system to input orders and process payments
- Provide excellent guest service by addressing any concerns or inquiries
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Experience in food preparation or as a cook is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and kitchen staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred
- Culinary or banquet experience is a bonus
