Our corporate offices and permanent showroom are located in AmericasMart-Atlanta, a key hub for the gift and home sector. Our lines are leaders in the industry offering top commissions to successful sales representatives. We are currently seeking sales experts in Central and Eastern Tennessee.
Role Description
The qualified candidate will be a motivated professional with a customer following in our respective industry and has demonstrated the ability to sell multiple product lines into a diversified customer base. Strong organizational skills along with basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.) are required. Previous position in gift sales is a plus. Attendance at the January and July Gift shows in Atlanta are mandatory. This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Representative to work in your assigned territory as well as traveling to Atlanta for the Gift shows. The Sales Representative will engage with independent retailers to showcase and sell products from our extensive gift and home accent lines. Responsibilities include building relationships with clients, maintaining an active sales pipeline, achieving sales goals, opening new accounts, and staying updated on industry trends. The role also entails interacting with clients in our showroom and managing communication both remotely and in person.
Compensation
This is a commission-only position and we offer the most competitive shared commission plan in the industry. We have a current customer base with established business in place.
Qualifications
- Sales and relationship-building skills with experience in client acquisition and retention
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to confidently present products
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage sales pipelines
- Basic understanding of retail trends and the gift industry; prior experience in a related field is a plus
- Proficiency in CRM tools and an ability to use digital tools for remote communication and reporting
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Flexibility to travel locally as well as to Atlanta, GA for in-person client meetings and showroom activities
- Attendance at the Summer and Winter Atlanta Gift Shows is mandatory
