- Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver meat products to various locations following designated routes.
- Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough inspections of delivery vehicles before and after routes to maintain safety standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing any delivery concerns promptly.
- Load deliveries accurately according to order specifications, ensuring all items are secured for transport.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
- Pick up company delivery truck/van from Bowie, MD daily
- Keep vehicles clean (interior and exterior)
- Drive to warehouse(s) to load assigned delivery orders
- Deliver products to designated customer locations
- Collect payments when required
- Use provided route equipment (company phone, printer, etc.)
- Refuel vehicles at the end of routes
- Return and park vehicles at original location after route completion
