We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservations and order management.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations and ensure an exceptional dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous host/host experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred.
- Strong background in food service and customer service roles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality.
