Responsibilities
- Stock shelves accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are organized and appealing to customers
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions quickly and correctly
- Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and locating items throughout the store
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when assisting via phone or in person
- Upsell related products and promote special offers to enhance customer shopping experience
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays and ensuring products are properly stocked
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform basic math calculations with precision during cashiering duties
Skills
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for team support roles
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently and educate customers about features
- Bilingual communication skills to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills and friendly phone etiquette
