This is a Full-time position with the hours of Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm

Job Description:
Finance Operations Specialist has responsibility for assisting the Finance Director and Staff Accountants with daily accounting operations which include bookkeeping functions and direct billing
1. Assists with all day to day accounting operations that are needed by the Finance Dept.
2. Generates or assists in generating any reports needed and/or requested by the Director of Finance.
3. Assist Finance Director and Staff Accountants with filing of accounting dept. documents, journal entries, and any other general accounting function required by Finance Director.
4. Responsible for all Direct Billing (DHHS and OIDD) and reconciliation of funds received compared to billing summaries, as well as all monthly Day Program and residential analysis reports.
5. Responsible for writing up and submitting daily bank deposits.
6. Assist Staff Accountants with True Link purchases as assigned by the Director of Finance.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Business Administration or Accounting preferred, or previous bookkeeping/accounting experience.
- Valid SC Driver's License
- Personal computer training or experience in business environment required - knowledge to include proficient use of Word and Excel.
- Requires sitting for long periods of time at a computer terminal entering data. Requires picking up box of computer paper (15 lbs.) to load printer. Must be able to hear and orally communicate adequately on the telephone.
