Litigation Paralegal

The Burris Legal Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role plays a vital part in supporting attorneys with all phases of the litigation process and ensuring top-tier service to our clients. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of legal expertise, exceptional administrative capabilities, and a passion for serving communities and advancing justice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide litigation support in civil and criminal law matters, including trial preparation, discovery, and case management.
• Draft and manage legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
• Maintain and organize case files, both physical and digital.
• Coordinate attorney calendars, schedule client meetings, court appearances, and travel.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and internal team members.
• Support the firm’s customer service initiatives by ensuring responsive, respectful, and efficient interactions.
• Exercise discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Manage executive-level administrative tasks and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of executive administrative experience, preferably in a legal or law firm setting.
• Prior experience in litigation strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities; proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused mindset.
