We are a cocktail lounge/bar with a 70’s California house party theme. We play beachy, mellow feel good music in the 70’s & 80’s genre. We have a DJ Thursday-Sunday, starting at 9:45pm, and Saturday & Sunday starting at 3pm. We are open 5 days a week, with last call at 1:30 and, closing at 2AM. We pride ourselves on being a destination full of amazing specialty cocktails, entertainment, and a welcoming team! As a hostess you are the face of The Bungalow, and your most important job is to ensure we greet and take care of all our guest!
Scope of Position:
The Bungalow Bartender will handle all guests ordering drinks at the bars as well as prepare drinks ordered by the servers and will ensure our guests consistently enjoy a delightful experience.

The Bartender - reports directly to the General Manager-AGM, Managers

To have a better understanding of all areas of responsibilities for the Bartender position, revisit and re-train on specific job duties/systems in place, and to create a consistent, thriving, and overall productive environment for the business, in which we can all implement and execute.
Duties and Supporting Responsibilities:
All alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are to be prepared by our bartenders
with perfect execution in pour counting, flavor and presentation
Pour tests will be administered regularly
Each employee is held to the highest expectation to interact with every guest
with excellence in hospitality
Making guests feel welcome, anticipating their needs and giving genuine warmth
and gratitude for spending their time with us
Remaining guest-focused at all times
Helping a guest with any inquiry
Actively upsell and participate in sales contests
An important performance metric is sales of call and premium vs well sales
Maintain impeccable knowledge of our F&B offerings
Every bartender must be ready and efficient with opening and closing duties of
each of our three bars
Stocking all product, garnishes and supplies
Cleaning and detailing during every spare moment of downtime
Professional, clean and organized behavior throughout the entire shift
IDs must be checked whenever there is doubt about a guest’s age
Current certification for LEAD, Food Handlers, TIPS and RBS required
Each bartender must offer drink refills after the first round is consumed
Each bartender must follow up with a guest at the bar to ascertain guest
satisfaction
Mandatory:
3 years’ minimum previous experience as a bartender in a fast paced nightlife environment
Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal in the English language
Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes am, pm, weekends and holidays
Must have the upmost professional standards
Must have a working knowledge of POS systems
Must have a solid knowledge of spirits (liquors, beer and wine)
Must have impeccable cash handling skills
Maintain proper grooming standards, appearance and friendly demeanor
Ability to handle multiple guest requests and work in a high paced environment
Must be 21 years or older
Must be available on holidays and work the schedule discussed during the interview.
