Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide knowledgeable recommendations on craft beers, spirits, wines, and cocktail options.
- Prepare and serve beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and swiftly.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Develop beverage recipes and suggest pairings to enhance guest enjoyment.
- Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, including processing payments and giving accurate change.
- Maintain an energetic, engaging atmosphere by managing multiple orders during busy hours and ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in bartending within a fast-paced restaurant or nightclub environment.
- Extensive knowledge of craft beer styles, brewing processes, and beer tasting techniques.
- Strong cocktail mixing skills with a background in mixology and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Previous food service experience with an emphasis on hospitality industry standards for food safety and sanitation.
- Experience working in fine dining settings or catering environments is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation and customer interactions.
