The Building People, LLC, has a full-time position open for a results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist. We have experienced incredible growth, due to hard work coupled with great success and people. We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to add to our growing HR team.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will deliver full life-cycle recruiting. You will use your abilities to source, screen and prepare candidates for interviews with hiring managers. You are the public face of the company during the recruiting process, so you must ensure positive candidate experiences from the initial application to the final onboarding process while maintaining awareness of our competitor practices, industry trends, and recruitment standards.
The successful candidate will work directly with and support several members of our Senior Management team in filling government contract positions needed in the delivery of our varied services. You must be comfortable managing the process from beginning to end with minimal oversight and possess an extremely high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. This position reports into the HR Department.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle process.
- Work with the management team in identifying vacancy requirements, developing vacancy announcements.
- Establish recruiting requirements by studying The Building People’s plan and objectives, and meeting with managers to discuss needs.
- Determine position requirements by studying the job description and job qualifications.
- Constantly source candidates from a variety of online tools and network.
- Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; screening candidates to determine eligibility and highest qualified candidates; conducting initial interviews; working with hiring managers on follow-up interviews.
- Posting new vacancies and closing and archiving vacancy announcements at the end of the recruitment process Performing outreach activities, i.e., social media, professional organizations, etc. in candidate searches.
- Pulling in candidate resumes to The Building People recruitment process. Conducting initial candidate screening.
