Invertebrate Husbandry Technician - Entry LevelSchedule: Sunday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMWork Environment: Hot, humid, hands-onJoin The Bug Company — Where Your Work Makes a Difference What You’ll Be Doing:
- Monitoring insect health & habitat conditions
- Preparing food and feeding live insect colonies
- Cleaning and maintaining rearing environments
- Ensuring secure and stable housing for insects
- Following safety and care protocols
- Using tools like box cutters, tape guns, etc.
- Comfortable working with live insects daily
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs, kneel, squat, and bend
- Reliable and able to work in a hot, humid, dusty environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Basic math and tool-handling skills
- Fluent in English with clear communication
- Willingness to adapt and take on tasks as needed
- $16–$18/hour based on experience
