About the Role:
- Job Title: Janitorial Day Porter – Commercial Cleaning (Full-Time / Day Shift)
- Location: Chattanooga, TN (Fountain Square)
- Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour
- Shift & Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No nights, no weekends!)
Key Responsibilities
- Facility Maintenance: Perform general daily cleaning, including dusting and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
- Restroom Care: Clean, sanitize, and continuously restock restrooms with soap, paper products, and supplies.
- Floor Care: Vacuum carpets, sweep, mop, and maintain clean floor conditions in high-traffic common areas.
- Waste Management: Regularly empty trash, replace liners, and keep the facility clutter-free.
- Inventory & Support: Receive, unload, and organize janitorial supply deliveries; complete other cleaning tasks as requested by supervisors.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional cleaning, day porter, or janitorial experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to comfortably and repetitively lift up to 35 lbs, stand, walk, and bend throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Reliability: Excellent attendance and punctuality for the Monday–Friday daytime schedule.
- Attention to Detail: Strong eye for cleanliness and a proactive mindset toward facility maintenance.
- Screenings: Must be able to pass a standard drug screening and background check.
