Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods, including plating and garnishing dishes
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, demonstrating strong knife skills and food handling techniques
- Contribute to maintaining a positive team environment by collaborating with other kitchen staff
- Assist with catering events or special functions as needed
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health department standards and restaurant policies
