We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Support banquet and catering events by ensuring that all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy service times.
- Follow all food handling safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
