Resident Care Director
Join Our Compassionate Team of Caregivers
We are seeking a dedicated Resident Care Director to join our community and help us provide exceptional, person-centered care for our residents. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate leader with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering trusting relationships with residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain positive resident and family relationships; address and resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Conduct initial, ongoing, and annual resident assessments.
- Oversee placement, admissions, and discharge processes for residents.
- Prepare and maintain individualized resident care plans and ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Supervise and support direct care staff in providing quality personal care and ADLs (Activities of Daily Living).
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation by staff.
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare providers to support resident wellness.
- Participate in on-call rotation with supervisory team.
- Work closely with the Administrator and Assistant Administrator to promote a positive, efficient, and compliant care environment.
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with geriatrics.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care.
- Must meet all healthcare employment requirements.
- Successful completion of background check, social media screening, and initial/random drug testing.
