ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Depending on experience, some of the essential duties, responsibilities, points of service and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) outlined below will be taught and demonstrated during the Foord Runner / Server Assistant training process.
Reports directly to the Restaurant Supervisor/Manager. • Requires dependable, punctual attendance, willingness to work Holidays and flexible days or hours according to business demands.
Requires the “teamwork attitude” and willingness to assist Management and co-workers as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Ability to perform the following Food Runner / Server Assistant duties in accordance with Food & Beverage Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
- Greet guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Assist Food & Beverage Servers and/or Casino Staff by organizing order tickets and delivering food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all dressings, garnishes, and condiments are properly included with each order
- Refill water and other non-alcoholic beverages as needed
- Clear, clean, and sanitize tables promptly while being mindful not to disrupt the guest experience
- Complete all assigned stocking duties and side work as outlined during training
- Assist restaurant hosts with seating guests when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with Health Department and OSHA regulations, as well as departmental SOPs
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of restaurant experience preferred
Age Requirement
- Must be at least 17 years of age
Language Skills
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English
- Ability to respond effectively to guest inquiries and concerns
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Frequent lifting and carrying of food trays weighing up to 50 pounds
- Requires vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Must be able to communicate effectively (talk, hear, and see)
Work Environment
- Fast-paced, high-energy environment with frequent noise
- May be exposed to tobacco smoke when working in or near casino areas
- Requires flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs
The Food Runner / Server Assistant provides friendly, courteous, and efficient service to our Guests by assisting the Food and Beverage Servers and/or Casino Staff in delivering the food and beverage orders to the Guests. The Food Runner / Server Assistant also ensures that our Guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience by performing the duties described below.
