Resident Care Professional – The Brook of Portland
Employment Type Opportunities: Exclusively Midnight/3rd shift OR PRN - As needed to cover the needs of the building.
Specific availability and scheduling preferences can be discussed with the Hiring Manager during the interview process.
Potential Shifts Include:
- Day / 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Afternoon / 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Midnight / 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
We are seeking a Resident Care Professional to work exclusively midnight shift OR provide as-needed coverage to support building operations when regular staff are unavailable due to call-offs, vacations, or other scheduling needs. This position offers flexible, intermittent hours based on staffing demands.
As a "as needed" Resident Care Professional Candidates should be willing to work any of the shifts listed as needed. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible PRN opportunities while contributing to quality resident care and team support

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care and hygiene
- Provide mobility support and companionship
- Deliver medications as directed
- Assist with meals and light housekeeping
- Foster a warm, respectful, and safe environment
Qualifications:
- Compassionate and dependable
- Desire to work with seniors
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Certification not required – on-the-job training provided
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
