Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunities Full Time Day and Nights (7a-7p, 7a-7-3p and 7p - 7a)
***New Shift Differential! Hours between 7p-7a off a shift differential of 30% above base pay!***
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, you will be an essential member of a dedicated team committed to helping individuals achieve recovery, stability, and improved mental wellness. In this rewarding role, you will provide compassionate, patient-centered care, collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, and support patients through some of their most challenging moments. - Provide assessment of patients’ psychiatric and medical status.
- Administer medication and medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
- Assess, direct and intervene in crisis situations.
- Initiate and document special treatment procedures.
- Provide and direct milieu management.
- Document nursing care, treatment and patient’s response to treatment.
- Provide health education to patients.
Qualifications
Education:
- Required: Associate degree in nursing
Licensure/Certification:
- Required: Valid RN License in State of KY or Compact State
- Required: Handle With Care
- Required: BLS
Experience:
- Required: 0 - 1 years of related experience.
- Preferred: 1 - 3 years of related experience.
