Job Summary
Join our hardworking kitchen team as a Dishwasher, where you’ll play a vital role in keeping our restaurant running smoothly. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen by washing dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Your attention to cleanliness, efficiency, and teamwork helps ensure the kitchen operates safely and effectively while supporting the entire staff in delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment and manual washing methods.
- Maintain a clean and organized dish area throughout each shift.
- Properly store clean dishes, cookware, and utensils in designated locations.
- Empty trash and recycling containers as needed and dispose of waste according to restaurant procedures.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Clean and sanitize sinks, dish machines, shelving, and other dishwashing equipment.
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks and support the kitchen team as needed.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a positive attitude while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workplace.
Schedule Requirements
- Must have weekend availability.
- Ability to work evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
