Job Title: Restaurant Host/Hostess
Pay Rate: $16.00-26.00 per hour inclusive of hourly pay rate + service charge*
*$16-26 per hour based on $14.00 per hour base wage + service charge commission paid per shift; historically, this position averages service charge commission earnings of $2.00-12.00 per hour. Service charges are commissions and will fluctuate based on events and time of year. This position always earns at least the current Colorado minimum wage $14.81 per hour.
Job Summary:

As a member of the Food and Beverage team, this person will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, making reservations, and providing hospitality to guests.

What you will be doing:
Operate computer reservation system in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines
Answer phones and respond to guest requests in accordance with Broadmoor Standards of Excellence
Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties and/or special services for diners
Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus
Identify and assist in problem solving as it relates to providing an exceptional guest experience
Set-up workstations and control food and beverage checks
Guide and assist in the training of new staff
Order and stock supplies as needed
Follow Broadmoor safety, hygiene, and uniform standards

What we are looking for:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); at least two years of related experience or equivalent preferred
Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
Strong interpersonal communication skills
