Job Summary:

As a Laundry Distribution, you will be responsible for ensure seamless, sorting, processing, inventory tracking, and delivery of pristine linens, towels, and uniforms to all guest-facing and operational departments. Learn more about The Broadmoor here.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Pre-sort and separate soiled linen, terry, and uniforms by classification, fabric type, and color before washing or finishing.
• Inspect all processed items for stains, tears, fraying, or discoloration; route damage textiles to discards or mending and route stubborn stains to specialized pre-treatment.
• Assemble, load, and deliver precise par levels of clean linens and uniforms via wheeled carts to designate housekeeping closets, spa facilities, and food & beverage outlets.
• Monitor daily linen usage, track distribution counts, conduct periodic physical inventory audits, and report supply shortages or discrepancies to management.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, folders, and ironers safely; wipe down equipment and maintain a spotless, organized, and sanitary distribution / laundry area.
• Ensure complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines, operational procedures, safety policies, and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).
• Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoor’s history, estate grounds, wilderness properties, culinary offerings, and retail outlets.
• Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
• Previous experience at laundry attendants or housekeepers is highly preferred; however, an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional background will be considered.
• A valid driver’s license is required, as this role may involve transporting equipment across the Resort. Please note that all employees operating Broadmoor vehicles must be at least 18 years of age.
• Exceptional attention to detail, basic arithmetic skills for counting/inventory, reliable time-management, and approach suited for luxury standards.
• Ability to comprehend safety instructions and communicate professional with internal departments like Housekeeping and Food & Beverage.
• A highly motivated team player who connects easily with colleagues and drives results through positive energy and seamless collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills, negotiation, conflict resolution and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 100 lbs. with assistance and proper safety practices.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the calendar of events.
