Duration: 6 months
Location: On-site 3 days/week in Cincinnati, OH or St. Petersburg, FL
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality technical support and cloud services across multiple clients and environments.
- Analyze client needs, gather technical requirements, and define architectural solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers on small- to medium-scale design and implementation projects.
- Develop and maintain automation, monitoring, and alerting scripts using tools such as CloudWatch, OEM, Splunk, and New Relic.
- Administer Linux/Unix operating systems and perform scripting (Python, Bash, Shell) for automation and optimization.
- Build and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Chef.
- Stay current with best practices across Windows/Linux, AWS, Azure, and OCI platforms.
- Provide expertise in system performance tuning, capacity planning, patching, and version upgrades.
- Create and maintain standard templates for repeatable builds and recovery plans.
- Plan, assess, and execute production system changes and disaster recovery tests.
- Collaborate with vendors to meet service level goals and ensure system reliability.
- Support the Linux team with major upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
- Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- 3 years of cloud administration experience (AWS, Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud).
- 3 years on an enterprise operations team.
