- Perform loss reserving analyses and ensure adequacy of reserves.
- Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and risk management teams to optimize pricing strategies.
- Prepare actuarial reports, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and actuarial standards of practice.
- Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario modeling to evaluate financial risks.
- Support product development through actuarial input on design, pricing, and profitability.
- Review and validate actuarial assumptions, methodologies, and models.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- Associate (ASA/ACAS) or Fellow (FSA/FCAS) designation from a recognized actuarial body is preferred.
- 4–8 years of actuarial experience in insurance, pensions, consulting, or financial services.
- Strong proficiency in actuarial modeling tools and programming languages (e.g., Excel, VBA, R, Python, or SAS).
- In-depth knowledge of actuarial principles, financial mathematics, and risk modeling techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex findings clearly.
