The British International School of Boston is seeking an exceptional Teacher of Visual Arts / Art & Design Specialist to inspire students across Middle and High School. Joining our dynamic international community, you will teach engaging and rigorous Visual Arts lessons, including Cambridge IGCSE Art & Design, while contributing to the continued development of our Visual Arts curriculum and supporting future growth opportunities, including IB Diploma Programme Visual Arts.

You will create innovative, inquiry-based learning experiences that combine traditional artistic skills with contemporary artistic practice, emerging technologies, and interdisciplinary connections. Through a range of 2D, 3D, and digital media, you will encourage students to explore, experiment, think critically, and develop their own artistic voice.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school, you will help create authentic learning experiences that connect Visual Arts with disciplines such as Design, Computer Science, Humanities, and the Sciences. You will challenge students to set ambitious goals, celebrate their achievements through exhibitions and showcases, and inspire them to achieve high standards of artistic and academic success.

About you

You must also be able to meet the visa-related requirements for the USA.
