Role Description This is a full-time Hybrid role, 3 days on-site in DC. The Sr. Informatica/Linux Admin will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Informatica platforms and Linux-based servers supporting enterprise data integration and analytics solutions. Daily responsibilities include monitoring system performance, managing user access, scheduling and optimizing Informatica workflows, and ensuring high availability and reliability of environments. The role involves performing regular patching, upgrades, and security hardening, as well as managing backups, recovery procedures, and environment migrations. The Sr. Informatica/Linux Admin will collaborate with data engineers, developers, and security teams to troubleshoot complex issues, improve system stability, and document configurations, standards, and operational procedures.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Strong Linux System Administration and general System Administration skills, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and security hardening.
- Implement and optimize data pipelines
- Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for complex, multi-tier environments, including root cause analysis and incident resolution.
- Hands-on experience with Patch Management, including planning, testing, applying, and validating OS and application patches.
- Significant experience administering Informatica (PowerCenter, IDQ, MDM, or related products), including repository management, workflow scheduling, and environment maintenance.
- Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or Shell) to automate administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, storage administration, and monitoring tools in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Oracle and SQL db
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments; understanding of access control, auditing, and change management practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, with at least 10 years of relevant practical experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical and non-technical stakeholders on-site.
- Must hold either an interim/active secret clearance or equivalent
