We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated JIRA Technical Specialist (Jira Enterprise) who can design, build, and configure applications to optimize business processes and application requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in JIRA development, administration, customization, automation, and integration with other enterprise tools. Act as the SME for Atlassian tools, build, customize, and support the Atlassian JIRA workflow capability as well as strategic planning initiatives. You will work closely with our software development and IT teams to enhance and optimize Atlassian tools, ensuring they meet our organization s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other tools.
- Design and implement custom plugins, scripts, and workflows using Atlassian SDK, Integrate Atlassian tools with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions to optimize workflows, automate processes, and improve user experience.
- Perform regular system administration tasks, including configuring users, projects, workflows, issue types, fields, and permissions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Atlassian tools, providing timely support to end-users.
- Stay up to date with new features, updates, and best practices for Atlassian tools and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Document technical specifications, configurations, and workflows for internal use.
Preferred Skills:
- 5 years of experience with Atlassian suite of tools, primarily JIRA, JSM, JWM and Confluence both from configuration standpoint and customization aspect
- Experience with Atlassian Marketplace and publishing apps.
- Strong knowledge of Atlassian products, GitHub, orchestration tools.
- Prior DOD Experience.
- Atlassian certifications (e.g., Atlassian Certified Jira Project Administrator, Atlassian Certified Jira Software Administrator) are a plus.
Salary : $60 - $75
