Primarily responsible for providing expertise as a Registered Dietitians in all areas necessary.

- Perform QA audits of food and dining for assisted living and reflections residents.
- Department of Health audit preparation as needed.
- Menu review quarterly, make changes as necessary.
- Maintenance and update of diet extensions, recipes, cycle menus, always available menus, and daily menus as needed.
- Maintenance and update of diet manual in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Provide dietary consults for current residents, resident family, and prospective residents as requested.
- Staff education and training, staff in-services as necessary.
- Oversee program development and implementation as needed.
- Oversee dietetic interns including training and ongoing follow-up.
- Professional speaking engagements for residents and community marketing events.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
- Completion of Masters Degree
- Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
- Registered to practice in New York State as a Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist
- Preferred experience of 3 years in geriatric care and menu writing
