Job Overview

We are a dynamic, woman-owned small business in Boise, ID, that sources, manufactures, and markets general merchandise for grocery, drug, and mass-market retailers. Our primary clients are local, but we also work with vendors and manufacturers worldwide.

We are seeking a meticulous, versatile Operations & Accounting Coordinator to manage our data-entry pipelines, support core accounting functions, and help drive efficient operations. As a valued part of our small, fast-paced team, you will have the autonomy to streamline processes while ensuring total accuracy from product launch to final billing, with many opportunities for advancement.

What You Will Do

• Data Management & Procedures: Input, organize, and track operational data across multiple software platforms on established timelines.
• Software & Training: Learn, use, and maintain client software systems while keeping internal staff up to date on procedural changes.
• Accounting & Billing Support: Handle day-to-day accounting entry, process billing, and monitor AR/AP functions and promotions.
• Quality & Accuracy Control: Review transactional data, shipments, and financial inputs to ensure complete accuracy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with sales and program directors to support the entire product lifecycle from initial setup through shipping and billing.
• Process Optimization: Develop efficient, streamlined approaches to daily data workflows.

Requirements of the Role

• Administrative Skills: Exemplary administrative skills, including high accuracy, strong attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
• Experience: 3 years of experience gained in a professional service or fast-paced operational environment (preferred).
• Software Proficiency: 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office, with primary proficiency in Excel, as well as Google Workspace.
• Education: A college degree in business or an administrative field is helpful but not entirely necessary for the right person.
• Communication: Effective listening and strong relationship management skills, with a willingness to pick up the phone or email someone to solve a problem.
