Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and meticulous Lumber Grader to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and grading lumber to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our products, uphold safety and compliance regulations, and support continuous improvement in our quality systems. Responsibilities:
Holds grading certification(s) and applies the requisite grading rules of the Western Wood Products Association (WWPA) to identify grades of lumber
Expectations:
Must have a single grading certificate in softwoods. Can mentor and provide training along the way to gather further certifications
Experience:
Possess and maintain at least one grading certification. The National Grading Rules (NGR) Certificate F, “All NGR Grades;” Certificate C, “Commons;” and Certificate A, “Shop” are preferred
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
