We are partnering with a rapidly growing installed building products company who is looking for a General Manager to oversee one or two branch operations (Columbia and/or Greenville). This person will lead the financial performance, operations, subcontractor network, and customer relationships for a growing business primarily serving production homebuilders. This role offers significant autonomy with great opportunity to grow as the company expands.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead the overall operations and financial performance of one or two branch locations.
- Manage branch P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and operational KPIs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with production homebuilders, contractors, and key customers.
- Oversee scheduling, capacity planning, and quality of a large subcontractor network.
- Recruit, coach, and develop office and field leadership while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Drive branch growth through operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and process improvements.
- Partner with corporate leadership on strategic initiatives, staffing, and business planning.
What You Bring
- Prior experience leading a branch, business unit, or operational facility with full P&L responsibility.
- Experience managing high-volume construction or service operations utilizing subcontractors.
- Strong financial acumen with responsibility for budgets, forecasting, and operational performance.
- Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and develop employees.
- Residential production building experience preferred; commercial construction or specialty contractor leadership also considered.
- Experience overseeing approximately $8M-$20M in annual revenue or similarly complex operations is preferred.
